The Production Process of Injection Moulding Products
General processing process of injection moulding products is raw materials - synthetic resins - plastic preparation – plastic injection moulding.
From the production of plastic raw materials to the production of injection moulding products, there are 3 production processes. The first production process is the synthesis of synthetic resin from raw materials through polymerization. The second production process is mixed with additives to obtain plastics, that is, raw materials for producing injection moulding products. The third production process is according to the plastic properties, that is, using various forming and processing means to make it become injection moulding products with a certain shape and use value.
The first and second processes in production generally belong to the plastic production department and are usually completed by the resin factory. The third process belongs to the production department of injection moulding products. However, for large plastic injection moulding manufacturers, in order to meet the diversity requirements of injection moulding products, the second process is also included in the production scope of injection moulding products, that is, the synthetic resin is used as the raw material, after adding additives, and then perform injection moulding production.
In the production of injection moulding products, the production system of injection moulding products is mainly composed of four continuous processes. The four processes are plastic injection moulding, mechanical processing, modification and assembly. Some plastics need to be pretreated (top pressure, preheating, drying, etc.) before injection moulding, so the complete sequence of injection moulding products production is: plastic raw materials - pretreatment – plastic injection moulding - mechanical processing - modification - assembly – injection moulding products.
In the four processes of injection moulding products production, the plastic injection moulding is the most important, and it is an indispensable process for the production of all injection moulding products or profiles. The other three processes depend on the requirements of injection moulding products, that is, not every plastic product has to go through these processes completely. Mechanical processing is used to complete the moulding process can not be completed or not completed accurately. Modification is mainly to beautify the surface or appearance of injection moulding products. Assembly is the process of connecting or matching finished plastic parts into a finished product. The latter three processes are called secondary or post-processing. Secondary processing, by contrast, is often secondary.
